Workspace sharing in Declarative Native Apps (Public Preview)

Workspace sharing is now available in public preview for Declarative Native Apps. Providers can share a whole directory of files and folders by declaring a workspace in the application package manifest. Consumers get a read-only workspace when they install the app, and can browse the folder structure and open the files.

Remote app operations for Snowflake Native Apps (Preview)

Remote app operations are now available in public preview for Snowflake Native Apps. Providers can perform on-demand operations on consumer apps, including running SQL statements ( run_sql ), retrying a failed upgrade ( retry_upgrade ), and disabling/enabling the app ( disable / enable ), all through a new system function SYSTEM$REMOTE_APP_OPERATION .

Snowpark Container Services backup instance types (Public preview)

Cloud capacity isn’t always guaranteed. When a compute pool’s instance type is unavailable, provisioning fails with an insufficient capacity error (ICE), leaving the pool unable to scale. Previously, resolving an ICE required manually switching the pool to a different instance type.
