Non-deterministic aggregate functions are supported with dynamic table incremental refresh (General availability)

Non-deterministic aggregate functions such as approx count distinct , approx percentile , and approx top k are now supported with dynamic table incremental refresh in INCREMENTAL, AUTO, and ADAPTIVE refresh modes. For incremental refresh, these functions are supported only in the SELECT clause. any value remains unsupported.

Apache Iceberg™ tables: Partition evolution (General availability)

With this release, we're pleased to announce the general availability of partition evolution for Snowflake-managed Iceberg tables. You can now change a table's partition specification after you create the table by adding, dropping, or replacing partition fields, without rewriting existing data.

HTML generation in Snowflake CoWork (Preview)

HTML generation is now available in preview as part of document generation in Snowflake CoWork. You can ask Snowflake CoWork to generate an HTML file from your analysis, the same way you generate a PDF or PowerPoint. Generation requires the Cortex Agent code execution tool on the associated agent.

Include and exclude per-user quota users by name (General availability)

Per-user quotas now accept individual user names, so you can add or remove specific users alongside the quota's tag scope. INCLUDE_USERS is new and takes user names directly, and EXCLUDE_USERS accepts a 'USER' argument alongside its existing 'TAG' form:

Per-user quotas now support a weekly credit limit alongside the existing monthly and daily limits. Pass 'WEEKLY' as the cycle argument to SET_PER_USER_LIMIT :

You can now use EXPLAIN CHANGES to predict a dynamic table's refresh behavior before it happens, either for a manual refresh or as part of a DDL change, without applying the change.

Elastic Channels for Snowpipe Streaming (General availability)

Elastic Channels for Snowpipe Streaming are now generally available. Elastic Channels provide one implicit, server-scaled ingestion path per pipe, so concurrent producers can stream directly to Snowflake tables and supported Snowflake-managed Iceberg tables without managing channel names, lifecycle, ordering, or offset tokens.
