Agent Skills and /v1/skills no longer require the skills-2025-10-02 beta header, including Messages requests that load Skills via the container parameter. Requests still sending the header continue to work unchanged.

Files API is out of beta on the Claude API

/v1/files and Messages requests referencing uploaded files no longer need the files-api-2025-04-14 header. Headerless requests get file expiration via expires_in_seconds, page-based pagination and an ids[] filter; requests with the header keep working.

Claude Managed Agents can restrict domains for web_search and web_fetch

allowed_domains and blocked_domains on agent_toolset_20260401 configs limit which sites an agent's web tools can reach. web_fetch also accepts max_content_tokens and web_search accepts user_location, giving tighter control over agent browsing.
