Increased file limit for deployed dbt project objects

A dbt project object on Snowflake can now include up to 100,000 files (up from 20,000). This limit counts every file in the project directory and its subdirectories, including the models/ folder and generated folders such as target/ , dbt_packages/ , and logs/ .

Organization user types (General availability)

With this release, you can specify whether an organization user represents a person or a service. Set the TYPE property to SERVICE for a service or application that interacts with Snowflake without human interaction. If you don't specify a type, the organization user is a PERSON user, which matches the previous behavior.

Improved data freshness for ORGANIZATION_USAGE premium views

With this release, Snowflake has improved data freshness for most premium views in the ORGANIZATION_USAGE schema. Typical data latency is now under 3 hours. Many of these views previously had a latency of up to 24 hours.

Atlassian Audit Logs connector (Beta)

The Atlassian Audit Logs connector is now available in Lakeflow Connect in Beta . Workspace admins can control access to this feature from the Previews page. The connector ingests organization audit log events, such as user, security, and configuration changes, from Atlassian into Databricks. Authentication uses an Atlassian organization API key.
