Lakebase is now PCI-DSS and HITRUST compliant in all AWS regions where it is available, for workspaces with the compliance security profile enabled. Previously, this support was limited to the us-east-1 region on AWS. See Data protection .

Lakebase Search is generally available

Lakebase backup schedule API (Beta)

You can now manage Lakebase backup schedules programmatically. The snapshot schedule API lets you read and set a root branch's automated snapshot cadences (daily, weekly, or monthly) and how long each cadence's snapshots are retained. Add and drop hybrid table constraints online (General availability)

With this release, you can add and drop UNIQUE and FOREIGN KEY constraints on an existing hybrid table by using alter table . Previously, you had to define these constraints when you created the table, so adding a foreign key to a table that was already serving a workload meant recreating and reloading the table.
