ClickHouse adapter for dbt v2 and ClickHouse in dbt Platform

You can now run dbt against ClickHouse on the new Rust-based Core v2 engine with the dbt v2 adapter, available in public beta. ClickHouse is also available as a connection in dbt Platform (Studio, jobs, and environments) for the first time, in private beta and enabled per account.

ClickPipes: Private Service Connect supports Global Access

ClickPipes now supports Global Access for cross-region private connections using Private Service Connect (PSC). When enabled, ClickPipes can connect to a PSC endpoint in a different region than the GCP region where the service is running, including regions not natively supported in ClickHouse Cloud (*e.g.* asia-northeast3 (Seoul)).

Claude API beta lets tools be defined inside mid-conversation system messages

With the inline-tools-2026-09-15 beta header, a tool_addition block can carry a full tool definition, so agents can add tools, change schemas or upgrade server tools mid-conversation without invalidating the prompt cache. The same header covers adding and removing tools by reference.
