Requests to claude-opus-4-6 with speed fast now run at standard speed and standard rates without erroring, and usage.speed reports the speed used. Migrate to Claude Opus 4.8 to keep fast mode.

With the new header, listing memories returns a stable server-defined order, depth accepts only 0 or 1, and path_prefix must end with / and match whole segments. Page cursors issued without the header are not valid with it.

Parquet v2 for Delta Lake tables is generally available

Parquet v2 is now generally available for Delta Lake tables in Databricks Runtime 18.1 and above. Parquet v2 uses advanced encodings, v2 data page headers, and INT64 timestamps to improve query performance and reduce table sizes. To use, set the delta.parquet.format.version table property to 2.12.0 or enable automatic upgrades.
